Academic Improvement Plan

The Academic Improvement Plan (AIP) is to help students assess their college experience and discuss it with their academic advisor. For more information, view the Academic Support Office website.

For students with Warning or Probation standings, steps to remove registration hold:

  1. Complete the Academic Improvement Plan (AIP) online.
  2. Schedule an appointment to meet with your Academic Advisor to review your AIP.
  3. After your advisor meets with you, they will submit your AIP to the Academic Support Office.
  4. If you have a Continued Academic Probation standing or have just finished your first semester with less than a 1.0 GPA, you will also be asked to meet with an advisor from the Academic Support Office (ASO).
  5. The ASO will remove the hold. Typically, within 1-2 business days.
