Izzie Cook

Izzie joined the CFAC Advising team in 2026. A graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, she received the American Indian Studies Indigenous History Award for her undergraduate research and spent her final semester in Washington, D.C., as a Michael G. Oxley Intern at The Ripon Society, where she contributed a published essay to The Ripon Forum. Before joining CFAC, she gained advising experience as an Undergraduate Specialist at BYU's Liberal Arts Advisement & Careers Center, working directly with students for a year and a half.

Izzie's own path through BYU was not a straight line, and she sees that as one of her greatest assets as an advisor. She is passionate about helping students feel informed and supported at every stage of their academic journey and is especially dedicated to connecting students with the resources and opportunities BYU has to offer.

A Southern California native and self-proclaimed horror enthusiast, Izzie spends her free time on the volleyball or pickleball court, at her local AMC, and logging every movie she watches on Letterboxd. She is devoted to her dog Loki and is almost never without a Red Bull.
