Kris Crowther

Kris joined the advising team in 2025. She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from BYU, a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Columbia Southern University, and a College Advising Certificate from Columbia University Teachers College. As a first-generation college student, her life was changed by a skilled advisor who guided her to achieve her academic goals. Kris has many years of academic advising experience at both the high school and college levels and is excited to share her skills and love for education at her alma mater.

Kris loves making memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren by boating at the lake, attending the theater, watching parades, gardening, reading, and cheering for the Cougars. As a former member of the BYU Marching Band (piccolo), she considers their performance the highlight of any game.
